What It Means to Be a LakeFest Oakland Food Vendor

LakeFest Oakland is more than a festival — it is a vibrant, community-centered cultural experience welcoming 20,000+ attendees from across the Bay Area and beyond. Our food vendors are a vital part of that experience. You help shape the memories families take home.

Being selected as a LakeFest vendor is both an honor and a partnership. We look for vendors who understand that serving at this scale requires not only great food, but thoughtful preparation, efficiency, and care for the community we serve.

To ensure a positive experience for everyone, our vendors are expected to:

  • Offer family-accessible pricing, including at least one item under $15
  • Maintain a streamlined menu to support quick and smooth service
  • Prepare for high-volume demand with adequate staffing and reliable POS systems
  • Present a clean, welcoming, and professional booth environment
  • Operate with transparency and in alignment with LakeFest guidelines

When service flows well and pricing remains accessible, the entire festival benefits. Shorter lines, more sales, clear menus, and organized setups allow attendees to spend more time enjoying the music, culture, and community.

We are intentional about curating a vendor lineup that reflects pride, preparation, and professionalism — while honoring the spirit of accessibility that defines LakeFest.

Our goal is simple:
High-quality food.
Fair pricing.
Efficient service.
A welcoming presence.

When our vendors succeed, our attendees return — and when attendees return, our vendors continue to grow alongside us.
