LakeFest Oakland Terms and Conditions

 1. Agreement to Terms: By purchasing a ticket, entering the event grounds, or participating in LakeFest Oakland, attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Tickets and Admission: All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except in the event of a full event cancellation by LakeFest Oakland.

Lost, stolen, damaged, or duplicated tickets will not be replaced.

Admission is subject to venue capacity, security screening, and compliance with all event policies. LakeFest Oakland reserves the right to deny entry or remove any attendee at its sole discretion without refund.

3. Security Screening: All attendees and their belongings are subject to security screening upon entry.

Refusal to comply with security procedures may result in denied entry without refund.

4. Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited unless expressly authorized by event management:

• Weapons of any kind
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Outside alcohol
• Drones or unmanned aircraft
• Fireworks or explosives
• Large professional camera, video, or recording equipment without approved media credentials
• Any item deemed unsafe by event security

LakeFest Oakland reserves the right to prohibit additional items at its discretion.

5. Clear Bag Policy: LakeFest Oakland enforces a Clear Bag Policy. All bags are subject to inspection. Event management reserves the right to deny entry to any attendee carrying prohibited items or non-compliant bags.

6. Photography, Filming & Media Consent: By entering LakeFest Oakland, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, livestreamed, recorded, and otherwise captured in any media format.

Attendees grant LakeFest Oakland, its sponsors, partners, media outlets, and authorized representatives the unrestricted right to use their image, likeness, voice, name, and appearance in photographs, video, livestreams, broadcasts, promotional materials, advertising, social media, websites, and other media now known or later developed without compensation or additional consent.

The event may be filmed, photographed, livestreamed, and broadcast for promotional and commercial purposes.

7. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver: Attendance at LakeFest Oakland is voluntary and at the attendee's own risk.

By attending, attendees assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, theft, loss of personal property, crowd-related incidents, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

LakeFest Oakland, its organizers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, contractors, employees, officers, and partners shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, or injuries arising from attendance or participation.

8. Event Changes, Artist Lineup & Cancellation: LakeFest Oakland reserves the right to modify event schedules, performers, activities, programming, venue layouts, operating hours, and other event elements without prior notice.

Performers, speakers, hosts, and attractions are subject to change. No refunds will be issued due to artist lineup changes, scheduling adjustments, or programming modifications.

Refunds may only be considered in the event of a full event cancellation by LakeFest Oakland.

9. Weather Policy: LakeFest Oakland is a rain-or-shine event.

Event operations may be delayed, modified, suspended, or canceled due to severe weather, public safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond event control. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related interruptions unless otherwise determined by event management.

10. Force Majeure: LakeFest Oakland shall not be liable for any cancellation, interruption, delay, modification, or reduction of services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather
• Natural disasters
• Public health emergencies
• Government actions
• Labor disputes
• Utility failures
• Acts of terrorism
• Civil unrest
• Other unforeseen events
  

11. Code of Conduct: LakeFest Oakland is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Harassment, discrimination, violence, threats, disruptive behavior, public intoxication, illegal activity, and possession or use of illegal substances are prohibited.

Violators may be removed from the event without refund and may be referred to law enforcement.

12. Alcohol Policy: Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed by attendees who are 21 years of age or older.

A valid government-issued photo ID is required to obtain a designated 21+ verification wristband.

LakeFest Oakland reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any individual.

13. Minors Policy: LakeFest Oakland is an all-ages event.

Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult at all times.

14. Re-Entry Policy: Re-entry is not permitted unless expressly authorized by event management.

15. Accessibility: LakeFest Oakland is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Attendees requiring ADA accommodations are encouraged to contact event organizers in advance of the event.

16. Health and Safety: Attendees must comply with all applicable health, safety, emergency, and venue requirements in effect at the time of the event.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.

17. Parking and Transportation: Attendees are responsible for complying with all parking regulations and transportation requirements.

LakeFest Oakland is not responsible for vehicle damage, theft, towing, citations, or loss of personal property.

18. Pets Policy: Leashed pets are permitted in designated public areas unless otherwise restricted.

Pet owners are solely responsible for the behavior, safety, and cleanup of their animals.

Aggressive or disruptive animals may be removed from the event.

19. Vendors and Sponsors: Vendors and sponsors must comply with all event policies, payment schedules, operational requirements, permits, health regulations, and setup/load-out procedures.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

20. Merchandise and Vendor Transactions: LakeFest Oakland is not responsible for products, services, transactions, disputes, warranties, or representations made by vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, or third-party participants.

21. Privacy Policy: Personal information collected through ticket purchases, registrations, contests, surveys, and event communications may be used by LakeFest Oakland for event administration, marketing, and communication purposes.

Information will not be sold to third parties.

22. Intellectual Property: All LakeFest Oakland names, logos, branding, graphics, promotional materials, photographs, videos, and related intellectual property are owned by LakeFest Oakland and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.
