To our Lake Merritt community:

LakeFest Oakland is taking place Saturday, June 21st, from 11AM–7PM — and to prepare for the celebration, the event area will be gated off starting:

 Friday, June 20th at 3PM through Saturday, June 21st at 11PM

Fenced-Off Area Includes:
The perimeter will extend from Grand Avenue at Fairyland, down Perkins Street, and wrap around to Bellevue Avenue at Perkins.

 Please Note:

• Open trails within the fenced-off area will not be accessible during this time.
   
• The dog park located within the fenced zone will also be off limits unless you are attending the festival.
   
• Regular access and park use will resume 6am on Sunday, June 22nd.
