To our Lake Merritt community:

LakeFest Oakland is taking place Saturday, June 27th, from 11AM–7PM — and to prepare for the celebration, the event area will be gated off starting:

 Friday, June 26th at 4:30PM through Saturday, June 27th at 11PM

Fenced-Off Area Includes:
The perimeter will extend from Grand Avenue at Fairyland, down Perkins Street, and wrap around to Bellevue Avenue at Perkins.

GRAND AVENUE WILL NOT BE CLOSED 

GRAND AVE AND BELLEVUE WILL BE BLOCK OFF AND PERKINS AND BELLEVUE, BUT GRAND AVE AS A WHOLE STREET WILL NOT BE CLOSED, YOU CAN PARK ALONG GRAND.

 Please Note:

• Open trails within the fenced-off area will not be accessible during this time.
   
• The dog park located within the fenced zone will also be off limits unless you are attending the festival.
   
• Regular access and park use will resume 6am on Sunday, June 28th.
